Katie earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and then her Master of Social Work from the University of Denver. She previously worked as a school social worker in Colorado, supporting children and teenagers with social-emotional needs, anxiety, ADHD, autism, depression, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. Before entering social work, she worked in the medical field as a medical assistant, where she developed a strong background in patient care, collaboration, and supporting individuals and families through a variety of challenges.

Katie is passionate about helping children, teens, and families feel understood, supported, and empowered. Her approach focuses on building strong relationships, creating a safe and welcoming environment, and helping patients develop practical coping skills and confidence in themselves.

In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her children and pets, baking, and listening to music. She is excited to join the team and looks forward to supporting families in the community she lives in and has brought her own children to Partners in Pediatrics for nearly a decade. She is excited to now support families at a practice that has also been meaningful to her as a parent.
