Our practice was formed in 1977 by Dr. Jordan Klein, Dr. Jerry Rubin and Dr. Dean Prina, with the primary goal of providing the highest quality and most comprehensive pediatric health care available in a private-practice setting. While both Dr. Klein and Dr. Prina are now retired from the practice, Partners in Pediatrics continues to provide care in the spirit of the founders’ vision for the practice.
Dr. Jordan Klein was born and raised in New York. He attended Case Western Reserve University for his premedical studies and graduated from medical school at the University of Louisville in 1974. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Miami in 1977. In that same year, he moved to Denver and established Partners in Pediatrics. Dr. Klein is married and has two grown children. He enjoys tennis, the arts, sports, and traveling with his wife. His areas of special interest were preemie babies, allergy and asthma. Dr Klein retired from the practice in 2007.
Dr. Jerry Rubin was born in Ogden, Utah. He finished his premedical education at Weber State College. He attended medical school at the University of Utah, graduating in 1977, and completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. In 1980 he joined Dr. Jordan Klein (our now retired founding doctor) in practice. He is married and has three married children and two grandchildren. He enjoys sports (especially triathlons), wood-working and gardening. His areas of special interest are integrated medicine and behavior management.

He completed his undergraduate premedical work at Stanford University and attended medical school at the University of California, San Diego, graduating in 1979. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, then graduated from Vanderbilt University Medical School. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver where she met the Partners In Pediatrics ‘family’ in 1987. Dr. Lataitis is married and has two children. She enjoys skiing, travel, and time with her family and two dogs. She has been an active volunteer in the community and serves on the Board of Directors for Adam's Camp, a Colorado non-profit providing intensive therapy for children.
